Swansea University's 2-Year LLB Law program will open doors for you!

This is a two-year single honours degree program for applicants who have completed a degree in a different subject area. It is particularly popular with Canadian applicants.

The LLB Single Honours degree (or Bachelor of Laws) allows students to obtain a qualifying law degree approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board for providing the "seven foundations of legal knowledge" needed for an individual to practise law. These compulsory subjects are: Constitutional and Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Criminal Law, Equity and Trusts, EU Law, Land Law, and Law of Torts.

Students also study optional modules from a wide range of subjects. For single honours students, the final year is composed entirely of optional modules so they can specialise by selecting related options such as Commercial Law, E-Commerce and Intellectual Property Law, or simply "pick and mix". Our courses are research-led and reflect the work of our dedicated LLB team.

Typical Canadian entry requirements: Bachelor degree with honours from a recognised university/college of higher education with a 5.5 GPA (9pt) or 2.3 GPA (4pt)
