Studying Abroad Doesn't Have To Cost An Arm And A Leg
Do your research and find out about available scholarships.
Did you know, every year millions of dollars in scholarships, bursaries and financial aid are left untouched. There are tons of scholarships available at provincial level (check the Ontario Student Assistance Program - OSAP if you are based in Ontario), federal level and internationally.
If you’re looking to join the almost 30,000 Canadians studying in the USA, find out more about the Killam Fellowships Program, for undergraduate studies. This unique program includes a scholarship of US$5000 per semester, US$500 health insurance allowance and a US$800 in-country mobility grant to travel within the US. How cool is that?
Or, if Europe is on your list, then enroll on one of Erasmus Mundi’s Joint Master’s Degrees, and you could get a full scholarship which covers tuition, accommodation and living costs for the entire duration of your program.
Many universities in Germany offer free education to international students, and many scholarships are available. Check the DAAD Canada website for more info.
Attend the ScholarshipsCanada feature seminar at the Study and Go Abroad Fair in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto to find out more about available scholarships on their database. Also, check the website to find out which universities are participating in the fairs and scholarships that they offer.
