Think Studying Abroad is Out of Your Budget? Think Again …

Prepare to be Blown Away by These Four Great Deals in Education

Save

1. The UK may not immediately come to mind when you think of ‘affordable’ study destinations. However, I bet you didn’t know that undergrad degrees are often three-years in the UK, and Master’s programs (including MBA’s) are often just one, saving you a year of accommodation/tuition. You can also go directly into Medicine, Law and Pharmacy from High School, so you qualify quicker, and start earning quicker.

2. How about experiencing Oktoberfest in person in Germany Believe it or not, Germany offers free university tuition to both local and international students. The best part of it is that many courses are offered in English, so there’s no need to speak German (although living there is an opportunity to learn, of course!). Germany is going out of its way to attract the ‘brightest minds’, and has, this year, reached it’s target of hosting 350,000 international students.

3. While you can rack up a six-figure student debt studying in the USA, it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg. Over 100 universities and colleges in the United States offer Canadian students in-state tuition, discounted tuition rates, or scholarships. Many states, including Minnesota, Maine, and North Dakota, have agreements in place with neighboring provinces to offer discounted rates to Canadian students.

4. Not only can Poland boast a long, rich (and complicated) history, 17 Nobel Prize winners, great Vodka, and Copernicus (the first person to dare to suggest that the earth is not the centre of the universe) – but it also has a world-class education system. Polish universities offer 800+ programs in English for a fraction of the cost you could pay in Canada. On top of this, its Central European location is a great stepping stone for the rest of Europe.

Meet with universities from these destinations and more at the Study and Go Abroad Fair in Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto February 25-March 4.
