Description:An animal health technologist is a valuable member of the animal health-care team who performs a large range of tasks, such as nursing, diagnostic procedures and client interactions, to assist veterinarians in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease in animals. The program focuses on practical skills used in both small and large animal practices, including lab work, x-rays and medical and surgical nursing.

ELP Requirement is one of the following: 1.TOEFL IBT (Internet Based) - 83 (23 in the Speaking component, 20 in the Reading component, 20 in the Listening component, 20 in the Writing component) OR 2. IELTS (Academic Format) - 6 (with minimum band scores for each component - 6.5 in the Speaking component, 6.0 in the Reading component, 6.0 in the Listening component, 6.0 in the Writing component).

  • Work Experience
A Verification of Work-Related Hours and Experience form must accompany the application. This confirms the applicant has had at least 40 hours of meaningful animal-health work experience at a veterinary clinic. This form must be completed by a supervisor.
