Description:This Nursing Studies MSc course aims to enhance a critical understanding of the issues affecting health care and nursing practice in an international context. The influence of the global public health agenda on the role of the nurse is considered in an examination of the complex social and political nature of nursing, health and social care.

The Nursing Studies MSc takes an integrated approach that draws on theoretical frameworks from a range of disciplines. The course is an opportunity to extend your knowledge base and to explore the evidence which is transferable to support nursing practice.

Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.

Additional Admission Requirements:
    Applicants should hold the equivalent of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in Nursing, and should have completed a qualification leading to registration as a nurse. We will consider applicants with a Diploma in Nursing and evidence of continuing professional development that shows an ability to study at master’s level.
