The Provost Award will be given to:

  1. 1) Ontario College applicants who have completed one year of full time study or equivalent at a college of applied arts and technology in Ontario within the past three years with an overall grade point average of 3.30 or better on a 4-point scale (B+/75 per cent or equivalent on a York grading scale) including all attempted courses. Candidates will be assessed on their most recent post secondary studies only, and must be admitted to an undergraduate degree program at York. Applicants who are ineligible for transfer credit consideration are excluded.
  2. 2) Ontario University Transfer applicants who have completed the equivalent of one full year of study (4 full courses/8 half courses) with an overall grade point average of 3.00 or better on a 4-point scale (B/70 per cent or equivalent on a York grading scale). Candidates will be assessed on their most recent post secondary studies only, and must be admitted to an undergraduate degree program at York. Applicants who have previously completed a university degree are excluded.
