To support students like you during the coronavirus pandemic, Memorial University in Newfoundland and Labrador has launched over a dozen first-year courses for summmer students. Students fresh out of high school, looking ahead to university in the fall, can enrol in an accelerated summer semester to get a head start.

Eight faculties and schools taking part

The faculties of Business Administration, Science, and Humanities and Social Sciences will offer courses, as will the schools of Music, Social Work, Fine Arts, Human Kinetics and Recreation, and Science and the Environment. No matter your field of interest, Memorial is sure to have a course for you.

Credit and non-credit

Memorial will also roll out an array of non-credit courses for students to get acclimated to online learning. If you're not sure whether university life is right for you, or if you're not totally ready to commit to the full university experience, Memorial's Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning is ready to help you.

Not registered? No problem!

Even if you aren't yet registered for the fall semester at Memorial University, you may still have the opportunity to apply. You'll get the chance to experiment with remote teaching and learning, and get a feel for whether you want to pursue university in the fall.
