If you’re a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, you’ll have the added bonus of paying domestic tuition costs as opposed to international student costs!

Northeastern University-Toronto scholarships

If you choose to study at Northeastern University-Toronto, you’ll have the opportunity to put yourself in a better financial situation. Northeastern offers three scholarships for students who choose to study in Toronto:

Scholarship name Award value Scholarship description
Toronto Campus Scholarship $5,000 CAD The Toronto Campus Scholarship provides recently admitted, highly-qualified domestic students with an overall tuition discount of $5,000 CAD (distributed over the full duration of your degree). It is available to students in the following programs: MS Project Management, MS Regulatory Affairs, MPS Analytics, and MPS Informatics. The scholarship is awarded in September, January, and April. Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada will be considered automatically for the scholarship upon admission.
Information Systems Toronto Scholarship 25% tuition discount The College of Engineering at Northeastern University offers graduate students a variety of means of financial assistance. Students who enroll in the MS Information Systems program at Northeastern’s Toronto campus in Spring 2022 and Fall 2022 will be eligible for a 25% tuition discount for the duration of your program. Students who defer to future terms are not eligible for the scholarship.
Double Husky Scholarship 25% tuition discount The Double Husky Scholarship helps Northeastern alumni finance their graduate education by providing a tuition discount of up to 25 percent on more than 100 eligible degree programs. If you’ve completed an undergraduate degree at Northeastern, you are automatically considered for the scholarship when you apply to one of the eligible graduate degree programs.

Financing your degree

On top of using scholarships to fund your education, you can also use student lines of credit to help cut costs. A student line of credit is a type of loan from a financial institution where you borrow a pre-set amount depending on the bank.

To help you with this process, Northeastern University-Toronto has secured a commitment from TD Canada Trust to provide student lines of credit to eligible Northeastern students on preferential terms. Programs and tuition costs

Our master’s programs are aligned with some of Toronto’s fastest growing industries. All of our programs are offered fully online or in a flexible hybrid format (combining online and in-class instruction). At Northeastern’s Toronto campus, we offer six programs from three different colleges:

College of Professional Studies

There are four programs based at the Toronto campus within the College of Professional Studies:
