Experience Hult in Toronto - MBA & Masters

Experience Hult in Toronto.

During this special evening event, attendees will learn more about Hult's Global One-Year MBA & Masters Degree Programs, participate in an engaging Master Class with Professor Frederic Chartier, and enjoy a networking reception with our enrollment team and local alumni.

Demystifying Finance: A Journey from your home to Wall Street

In this Master Class, Professor Chartier will explain how sophisticated financial assets are valued, using basic common-sense tools and concepts. We will discover how ultra-sophisticated valuation models used in leading financial institutions are based on simple economic principles that we all use in our daily lives. When Facebook bought WhatsApp in 2014 for the princely amount of $19 billion, the methodology that they used in estimating the fair value of their target company was the same that we use when we shop for a pair of Nike shoes or for a new television set.
