ESET WOMEN IN CYBERSECURITY SCHOLARSHIPS

A total of $15,000 in scholarships will be awarded to Canadian women pursuing careers in cybersecurity. Seven awards now available in Canada, with scholarships up to $5,000 for trailblazers and future leaders in cybersecurity.

Since 2016, ESET North America has supported and empowered women in pursuing careers in cybersecurity, offering financial assistance to help achieve their aspirations. We've encountered remarkable women who are passionate about shaping the future of this field.

According to the 2024 Cybersecurity Workforce Study conducted by (ISC)2, women account for only 14.4% of the cybersecurity workforce, while men make up 79.6%. As emerging technologies like generative AI continue to evolve, diversity in cybersecurity is essential to ensure these tools remain ethical, secure, and inclusive.

ESET is committed to helping bridge this gap, fostering opportunities for women to lead in cybersecurity and AI while building a more balanced and innovative future.
