We host a range of open day activities between 10am and 4pm covering all aspects of university life; including a general welcome to Sheffield and information about the Students' Union, accommodation and finance. There will be opportunities to look around the campus and accommodation, and ask our experts any questions you might have at our general exhibition. You can book to attend either 1 or 2 departmental talks. You will find out more information about the course and meet academic staff from the department. When booking a second talk, please ensure that you allow time to move between venues (see map and references for details of where talks are located).

*Please allow approximately 90 minutes for your visit to your chosen department. The exact timings will vary depending on the activities offered by each department. If the departments you are interested in do not appear in the drop-down list, this may mean that the talk is already fully booked. Please check again in a few days time as more slots may become available on talks.

Please note: The deadline for application to our Medicine degree course is 15th October. For this reason, there will be no Medicine Talks taking place during the 20th October Open Day. If you are interested in applying for 2020 entry, you can chat to our current Medicine Students at the Medicine, Dentistry and Health Exhibition taking place at our Open Day from 10am until 3pm in the Medical School Cafe.
