Students at Capilano University adjust to online learning thanks to workshops organized by the school.

It's that time when you're starting to think about your upcoming fall semester and we want to make sure that future CapU students are prepared and excited for what's to come!

Fall 2020 Semester:

CapU has officially moved to an online mode of learning and this will continue through the summer into the fall. Adapted modes of delivery are expected to continue for the 2020-2021 academic year with a combination of online and the reintroduction of in-person teaching and learning where safe and appropriate. For more information on the upcoming fall 2020 semester, click here.

You should know that our faculty members are actively developing their skills in the effective design and delivery of online courses. As you know, online learning is a different mode of instruction that requires re-envisaging a course with the same material but a different means of engagement — and our instructors are keen to be adept at this when September comes.

Academic Advising Course Planning Workshops:

Admitted students also are invited to attend a course planning session by the Academic Advising team. These workshops will help you learn how to look up and choose courses and find out which classes you need to satisfy your program's requirements. Please find these workshops here.

Financial Planning Workshops:

We are excited to announce that Financial Aid will be hosting "Funding Your Education" information sessions in June and July. These sessions will cover everything from student loans, scholarships, bursaries & awards, fee deferrals, adult upgrading grants and budgeting and financial well-being. You can find the schedule and RSVP details here.

We hope you find these resources helpful as you begin your journey to CapU! If you have further questions please don't hesitate to contact us at recruitment@capilanou.ca. We are wishing you all a safe and happy start to the summer season!
