Ready to take to the skies in pursuit of your dreams? The RCAF Foundation scholarships are open now to students in Canada pursuing a certificate, diploma, or degree in a STEM field, with plans to pursue a career in aviation and / or aerospace!
(If you've already got your private pilot's license (PPL), and you're enrolled in an advanced aviation training program in Canada, you're also eligible!)
RCAF Foundation scholarships are worth $1,000, $1,500, or $2,500, depending on the specific scholarship.
Who's eligible for an RCAF Foundation scholarship?
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must:
- a) be enrolled at or accepted to an accredited university or college in Canada, OR
- b) completed their PPL (private pilot's license) and enrolled in an Advanced Aviation

How do I apply for an RCAF Foundation scholarship this year?
The application process for an RCAF Foundation scholarship is simple. You'll fill out a basic application form on the RCAF Foundation website, and include EITHER of the following options (not both!):
- Written essay, maximum of 750 words, OR
- Short video between 2 and 5 minutes
In your essay OR video, you'll address both of the following topics:
- Tell us about yourself and why you are inspired to pursue a career in aviation and/or aerospace.
- How will your career path and goals make a meaningful contribution to your chosen field or to your community?
Both of these topics should be covered in one essay or video! You will also need:
