It's Not You, It's the Economy: Stretching Your Money When Everything Costs More Webinar

Rising costs are putting pressure on households across Canada. Even people who budget carefully are finding it harder to keep up as grocery bills grow, expenses increase, and paycheques stretch less and less.

To help Canadians navigate today's cost-of-living challenges, Credit Canada is hosting a free webinar designed to provide realistic strategies, trusted resources, and actionable steps for making money go further without sacrificing quality of life.

In this practical, action-oriented session, your community members will learn:
  • How to break the financial guilt cycle and focus on the real factors impacting their budget
  • How to identify financial drains and budget strategically
  • Practical ways to lower everyday expenses in key spending categories like groceries, utilities, and subscriptions
  • How to manage credit use and debt during periods of high inflation
  • Where to find trusted Canadian supports, community programs, and non-profit resources that can provide immediate relief

The session will be led by Alexandra Rodriguez Bernal, Education Lead and Credit Counsellor at Credit Canada. As an Accredited Financial Counsellor, Alexandra has helped Canadians build healthier relationships with money, overcome financial challenges, and take meaningful steps toward living the life they want, free from the weight of debt.

The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A in a safe, judgment-free space where attendees can get practical guidance from Credit Canada's experts. Thank you for helping Canadians feel more informed, supported, and confident as they navigate today's financial challenges.
