What You’ll Learn

In this immersive program, you’ll develop technical and conceptual skills through studio work and critical studies. Early courses establish a foundation in design theory, cultural and ecological issues, and material practices.

Later electives allow you to specialize in furniture, textiles, electronics, medical design, ceramics and more.

You’ll work collaboratively with peers, engage with real-world partners and explore how industrial design shapes everyday life. Led by expert practitioners, this program challenges you to consider sustainability, accessibility and innovation in your design practice.
