Economists are excited by changing environments and unique challenges. When you study economics, you’re examining decision-making processes at the personal and political level and contributing to a way of thinking that will influence countless social issues, including: poverty, climate change, health care, international development, globalization, immigration, financial institutions, and government regulations. Economics will prepare you for a career of investigating and analyzing economic events, forecasting trends, and creating efficient policies while innovating current systems.



The Co-operative program offers students the opportunity to undertake paid work terms, the work to include economic research and analysis beyond classroom instruction.
