Program Information

School:University of New Brunswick - Fredericton
Faculty:Faculty of Arts
Degree:Bachelor; Honours
Field of Study:Anthropology
Description:

Anthropologists study humans: who we are, what we do, what we say, what we look like, and what we believe in.

At UNB, Anthropology is a holistic discipline, meaning you’ll examine humans, both past and present, as biological, cultural, and social beings. You’ll explore three central subfields – sociocultural anthropology, archeology, and biological anthropology – and you’ll have access to our expanded lab facility that includes a vast collection of human, hominid, and primate teaching specimens. Anthropology is available as a major, minor, and honours in the Bachelor of Arts (BA) program.
