Description:Interior Design Technology is a three-year program that prepares you to be a valuable member of the design team for interior additions and renovations, leasehold improvements and new construction. There is an opportunity to be part of the competitive co-op program in third year. Students prepare for a career as an Interior Design Technologist, someone who contributes to the technical design of building interiors by developing 2D and 3D presentation and construction drawings incorporating a knowledge of building code, sustainability, accessibility, lighting, textiles, furniture, colour and ergonomics.

Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent (if applying as a mature student 19 years of age or older), with completion of Grade 12 English (C or U), and either Grade 11 Math (M or U) or Grade 12 (C or U).

  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.0] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 80]
