Gain theoretical and practical expertise in the cellular and molecular sciences. In our Biomedical Sciences degree program, you'll have opportunities to research important health issues like how cells turn cancerous and how genes influence aging. Labs and real-world experiences working with our biomedical industry partners will help you develop a deep understanding of molecular and cell biology, genetics and genomics, and microbiology. An optional paid co-op will provide you with additional opportunities to gain experience. You?ll also get to work on laboratory research, preparing you for a career in biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

  • 2 of  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Physics 

Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), 6 Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 70%, and the following required Grade 12 U courses (minimum grade of 70% in each):

  • English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
  • 2 of Physics (SPH4U), Chemistry (SCH4U) or Biology (SBI4U)

Applicants not educated in Ontario must submit evidence of education equivalent to the OSSD with six Grade 12 U or M courses.
