| Description: | The Child Nursing Pre-Registration course will enable you to develop the necessary knowledge, attitudes, skills and behaviours to be a children’s nurse and meet the demands of the role in a continuously changing healthcare system. You will also be prepared for the multi-faceted role required by children and families now and in future years.
You will be taught in the classroom with group and self-directed learning which will provide the fundamental knowledge and understanding required to care for children and young people. Through classroom debate you will be prepared for the role of advocate by understanding and applying the strategies by which the voices of children and families are heard and acted on.
