Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. 

Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible.

Description

Interested in a career in tourism? The two-year, 18-credit Tourism Marketing Citation at Capilano University will help you get your foot in the door of this competitive industry. 

If you don't have the admission requirements to enter our Tourism Management diploma or degree programs, this introductory program enables you to start your studies in the field while completing your academic upgrading. 

In the program, you'll have the opportunity to learn the basics about the industry and how the different relationships between partners work. 

You'll also learn about the sales process and explore different marketing strategies while gaining a background in communications and hospitality management.
