| Description | Studying Modern Languages and English Literature lets you experience the richness of language. You can learn about the past, discover different perspectives, expand your vocabulary and find new ways to express yourself, then immerse yourself in a foreign country, its language and culture in person on your year abroad.
You will learn and develop your competence in writing, speaking and comprehension in one of the languages we offer at Bangor – French or Spanish. At the same time, you can also explore historical and cultural aspects relating to your chosen language and the communities that speak it, such as film, contemporary issues or politics.
