    DescriptionThe Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program at Long Island University Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine, is a 4 year long degree program, organized into 2 academic semesters per calendar year, totaling in 8 semesters.

    The pre-clinical portion of the DVM program encompasses Years 1-3 and the clinical program consists of one academic year of a series of clerkships (rotations) each 2-4 weeks in length.
