Description

Durham College’s Bachelor of Cybersecurity program prepares students to protect digital systems by developing strong skills in risk reduction, threat analysis, digital forensics, secure programming and network defense. Through hands-on labs, real-world case studies and applied projects, students learn to evaluate vulnerabilities, implement mitigation strategies and secure applications across their lifecycle. The program emphasizes policies, regulations, communication and teamwork to support organizational security goals. A mandatory 420-hour work-integrated learning placement provides practical industry experience, ensuring graduates are job-ready for the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
