The Aerospace specialization in the Mechanical Engineering program provides you with a solid foundation in the science and technology of flight. Developed on the principles of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, materials and control systems, this specialization introduces the core disciplines that enable the design and operation of aircraft and spacecraft.


You will gain a deep understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion, structures and flight dynamics. These skills are essential to the development of aerospace systems. The specialization integrates theoretical learning with applied problem-solving and relevant simulation tools used in the aerospace industry.

The Aerospace specialization can be taken in the Mechanical Engineering major.
