Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. 

Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible.

Description

In the Arts & Entertainment Management program at CapU, you'll gain the skills to work in B.C.'s growing entertainment industry.  

Immerse yourself in the business side of the arts and entertainment industry and get ready for a fast-paced career in music, festivals, events, theatre, film/TV talent, artist management or a mixture of all. 

As you move through this two-year diploma, you'll also refine your abilities in important areas including artist development and talent management, touring, resource development and marketing. 

Your first year will focus on a broad range of topics including a survey of the arts and entertainment industry, computer applications, music business, venue and festival management and industry-specific management skills. 

In the second year, you'll advance to even more complex coursework and gain real-world experience in an external practicum in the industry.
