Current high school students 

Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. 

Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible.

Description

The Indigenous Digital Filmmaking programs at CapU offer high quality creative and technical training for Indigenous students interested in film and TV production. 

Career opportunities in Indigenous film and TV production are growing. Our students come from all around the country to learn from experienced Indigenous instructors. 

You'll study everything from scriptwriting to shooting and post-production — and leave ready to start work. 

To earn your diploma, you'll need to complete both years of this program. Diploma students can apply to the third year of the Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts degreeat CapU. 

Graduates have gone on to crew across all production departments or work on their own productions.
