Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), 6 Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 70%, and the following required Grade 12 U courses (minimum grade of 70% in each):

  • English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
  • 2 of Physics (SPH4U), Chemistry (SCH4U) or Biology (SBI4U)

Applicants not educated in Ontario must submit evidence of education equivalent to the OSSD with six Grade 12 U or M courses. Description

Chemists create new and useful materials and products, help protect the environment and fight diseases. In our Chemistry degree program, you'll learn about matter and energy and how they interact, using and applying research to improve quality of life. You'll gain experience through fully equipped labs, an optional independent laboratory research project and an optional paid co-op. You can also customize your degree with an option in Applied Physics or an optional specialization in Management Sciences.
