| Description | A relatively new discipline within psychology, neuropsychology focuses on the relationships between the brain, its processes and our behaviour. Studying fundamental brain science allows us to predict outcomes and develop treatment for brain injury and impairment, as well as severe mental health conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar and depression.
On this BPS-accredited Psychology degree, you’ll specialise in understanding the structure of the central nervous system and human brain, and how they influence human thought, perception, emotion, language and behaviour. You will also analyse what happens when the brain is damaged or impaired, for example, after head injury or stroke, and how to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate patients.
