| Description | This BSc (Hons) Marine Biology and Zoology offers insight into the huge diversity, behaviour, biology and evolution of animal life and the planet’s various ecosystems, from the mountains to tropical coral reefs and deep sea trenches. Studying the interaction between animals and their environments, you can choose to focus on the evolutionary history of sharks, fish biology, invertebrates or animal survival strategies.
Situated in close proximity to the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) within a few metres of the sea, Bangor University offers easy access to a range of diverse habitat types and animals. Ideal for fieldwork, you’ll undertake experiments and analysis in estuaries, on the seashore, at sea, on land, and in the lab. | | |
