Completion of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), 6 Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 70%, and the following required Grade 12 U courses (minimum grade of 70% in each):

  • English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)

Applicants not educated in Ontario must submit evidence of education equivalent to the OSSD with six Grade 12 U or M courses. Description

The ability to respond effectively to cultural diversity is essential in the 21st century. The immersive Language and Intercultural Relations degree program at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) will teach you intercultural empathy, and help you understand and facilitate communication between cultures. The linguistic proficiency and cultural intelligence you gain will prepare you to tackle challenges in a variety of professional sectors. All students choose options in either French or Spanish. In addition to your second language and experience from optional paid co-op placements, you'll graduate with competencies in research, analysis, leadership and problem-solving. All of these skills are needed to enter and thrive in a global market and workforce.
