| Description | The ability to respond effectively to cultural diversity is essential in the 21st century. The immersive Language and Intercultural Relations degree program at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) will teach you intercultural empathy, and help you understand and facilitate communication between cultures. The linguistic proficiency and cultural intelligence you gain will prepare you to tackle challenges in a variety of professional sectors. All students choose options in either French or Spanish. In addition to your second language and experience from optional paid co-op placements, you'll graduate with competencies in research, analysis, leadership and problem-solving.
