| Description | The BA (Hons) Childhood and Youth Studies and Welsh addresses the growing demand for Welsh-speaking graduates with the knowledge of Welsh culture and professional expertise needed to engage effectively and empathetically with young people and their families in different contexts.
During this joint degree you'll combine the study of the Welsh language, literature, and culture with investigations into the full spectrum of childhood and youth experiences, from conception to the transition to adulthood. This includes adolescence, children’s rights, development, learning, play, identity, safeguarding, mental health and diversity. You'll also explore and discuss the history, literature, and culture of Wales improving your language proficiency and cultural awareness.
