| Description | Contemporary Art Practice is the expanded field of fine art practice and overlaps with broader visual practices as a whole; including painting, print and photo-media, sculpture, video art, book arts, publishing, new media art, performance, installation, community arts, public arts, curatorial practice and art writing.
As well as gaining insights and skills linked to a variety of media you will engage with a wide range of aesthetic and conceptual debates. You will explore identity and diversity, political environmental social and cultural themes that can be expressed through your developing practice as a contemporary artist. The course will prepare you to be a professional artist working in the contemporary visual arts alongside artists designers and other creative practitioners.
