| Description | This course combines philosophy with study of Italian and provides a valuable skill set ideally tailored to the increasingly globalised workplace. Bristol has an enviable record for its research, both in philosophy and in Italian culture.
Italian language and culture have had a lasting impact on Europe, while today, Italy's innovative contributions to design, technology and fashion make it a major global, commercial force. Italy is both traditional and modern - a tension that is apparent throughout its history and culture. You will spend your third year abroad studying or working, which will enable you to refine your language skills and cultural understanding. In each year you take an equal number of credits in Italian and philosophy. For philosophy you will study units covering introduction to philosophy, logic, and realism and normativity. | | |
