Scholarships
DescriptionStudying abroad in Europe fosters language skills and intellectual growth as well as developing your breadth of perspective and employability. The first two years of the programme are similar to our Single Honours Mathematics degrees, providing a broad background in mathematics and also including relevant European language units.

Year one consists of compulsory topics. In your second year you can choose some topics that are of particular interest to you, meaning you can continue with a varied degree or choose to specialise. Provided you fulfil the progression requirements of the Study in Continental Europe course at the end of year two, you will spend your third year abroad in one of our partner universities, studying mathematics in a foreign language. You will return to Bristol to complete the third year of the degree, where you will benefit from a wide choice of units.
