Profile

Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) is a leading comprehensive innovation university integrated into Toronto's diverse urban core. Culturally diverse and inclusive, the university is home to 40,000+ undergraduate students from 140+ different countries and more than 225,000 alumni worldwide.

We offer over 60 undergraduate programs in across six faculties: Arts, Community Services, Engineering and Architectural Science, Science, Ted Rogers School of Management, and The Creative School. Our programs continually evolve to equip students with the knowledge and experiences to contribute, lead, and adapt.

We are driven to apply our knowledge to improve lives in Toronto and across the globe. We create experiences that challenge the mind and encourage action through experiential learning such as co-operative education, internships, and zone learning. We think differently about what's possible and invite our students to do the same.

Renaming in process:

In April 2022, Ryerson University changed its name to Toronto Metropolitan University, which will be implemented in a phased approach. You will see the Ryerson name being used online and in our official communications for a period of time.
