The University of Birmingham is pleased to announce the award of three scholarships for Canadian students applying for entry to an undergraduate program at the University starting in September 2023.
These three scholarships are joint awards with local representatives:

Who's eligible to apply for an Outstanding Achievement Scholarship?
The Canada Outstanding Achievement Scholarships will go to the three top-performing applicants who start their undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham in September 2023. The award can't be deferred, so you'll have to start your program this year to qualify for a scholarship.
Many art and science programs qualify for this scholarship! Please be aware of some exceptions: Medicine and Surgery, Dental Surgery, and Law programs are not eligible. Here's a short list of areas that DO qualify for the Canada Outstanding Achievement Scholarships:
- Arts and humanities
- Literature and languages
- Engineering, physical, and life sciences
- Health sciences, including nursing
- Social sciences
As you can see, it's a pretty wide range! Most of the undergrad programs offered at Birmingham will be covered, though you can browse the full scholarship listing for more info on specific programs.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
To apply, you must be registered with Across the Pond and/or SI-UK Canada, and be accepted to study at the University of Birmingham for a September 2023 start. Once you've got your application to Birmingham sorted, you can get a scholarship application from your local partner (either Across the Pond, or SI-UK Canada).
You have until the deadline, June 30, 2023, to submit your scholarship application! You could receive a £4,000 scholarship (roughly $6,700 CAD) to the University of Birmingham!
